Posted in News, Resources with tags art, artists, camouflage, dazzle, nature, science, ships, World War I on October 26, 2012 by ccovertI will be giving a talk on Halloween at the University of Northern Iowa. It is free and open to the public, so if you are in the neighborhood stop by. There is an exhibition of student posters for the event currently up as well as an exhibit on camouflage. For more information see: http://www.uni.edu/artdept/gallery/Calendar.html
I was invited to talk by Roy Behrens, Professor of Art at UNI, RISD Alum, and camouflage scholar. I highly recommend his new book Ship Shape: A Dazzle Camouflage Sourcebook.
